Studio Bathroom Mirror Options – Addicted 2 Decorating®

I’ve been looking for the perfect mirror for the studio bathroom. Since the wallpaper is nothing but squares, the wainscoting has rectangles, and there are a lot of other straight lines and corners in the room, I think the mirror needs to add some softer shapes to the room.

Side note: I actually meant to add these to yesterday’s post, but I totally forgot! I even had it in the original title. I published the post, walked away, and then came back and realized that I never added the mirror options. 😀 So I updated the title of the post, but I do want to show you the options I’ve found.

I tried to do mockups of each mirror options, but my mockups are getting pretty messy now, so I don’t know how helpful they’ll be. I’ll add them anyway, though.

Here’s what the mockup of that mirror in the room looks like.

I also tried a lighter purple for the vanity in this mockup. I’m not loving it. I’m very particular about purples. They either have to be really dark or light with a lot of gray. The medium purples just aren’t my thing. But I do love this mirror, which is why I used it in all of the original mockups. I think the wavy frame adds some softness to all of the squares.

The detail kind of gets lost in the mockup, but you can kind of see it.

And you can see that I also tried out another suggestion in that mockup. Someone suggested the eggplant vanity and a pink ceiling. I was intrigued so I tried it out. I actually love it! I don’t know if that’s what I’ll end up doing, but I love the idea of a pink on the ceiling that coordinates with the studio cabinets.

I really like this mirror against the squares, but I’m not sure if it’s the best option. There’s a calming simplicity to it.

I really like the repetition of the circle motif against the repetitive square wallpaper.

I like that it adds softness to the bold squares wallpaper, but it adds softness in a less expected way than a round mirror.

So those are the options that I have saved right now. I don’t think I’m going to keep looking. I have plenty of options here, and one of these will work well in the room. Now I just need to decide which way to go.
